Living in the landscape
Description
Here the place is strategic, a piece of landscape of Picardy, a border between the city and agriculture. Our project seeks to bring quality to this fringe between peri-urban area and campaign and give it a true identity. We have accentuated the folds of the ground and inscribed the City of Risk in their extension. Designed in a stratified manner and inscribed in a geography, the Cité’s function is to tame the site, to penetrate the users. The project brings together multiple activities: outreach and education center, resource center, congress area. The public car park is installed under the trees, made of “evergreen” paving stones and is treated as an extension of the landscape.
