Description

MediaCampus joins architectural projects wich gave a new breath and a new face to the industrial heritage of the Island of Nantes: the Superior School of Architecture, the Gallery of Machines, the Factory, the Beaulieu shopping mall, the futur School of Fine Arts.

This project also corresponds to the wish of the planners (Samoa and Nantes Métropole) to make of the Island of Nantes a point of convergence and a reference in the culture field and in creation. This ambitious project aims at making of MediaCampus a unique cluster wich allows the link between an institution of higher education (SciencesCom) and a media (TéléNantes) on the district of the creation of the Island of Nantes, a fast-changing district and a strong urban reorganization.

The purpose is the meeting between education, research and media to allow students to confront with the world of work, even to practice it.
